Edward William HineHENDYIt is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Edward, aged 93 years, peacefully at home on 6th September 2025.

Beloved husband of the late June, dearly loved father to Peter and Claire, dear brother to June, and adored grandad to Jane and Louise and papa to Reuben, Ollie and Toby.

Funeral service to take place at St. Mary's Church, Plymstock on 24th September at 11am.

Family flowers only please. Donations if desired to St Lukes and Marie Curie by retiring collection or via www.morrisbros.co.uk

Edward and Dad (Jack Finch) were close cousins, spending a lot of time together in their youth working on the harvest, before the days of health and safety, when riding on a full wagon of hay was acceptable. Later in life they met up each week to chat over a beer and put the world to rights. Edward was always welcoming, bringing a lamb out to entrance our toddler, when we visited from Leicester. He will be missed.
