Richard, we hadn't spoken for a year before you passed away and I've only found this out in the past few days.

Although we didn't work out, I did treasure the 3 years that we were together and I wouldn't have changed that for anything. Except for those awful Donald Trump memes you kept sending me!

I hoped that you would be happy and continuing your travelling adventures, so it feels like a thump to the stomach to find out that your life was cut so short.
