Gertrude EdithHEWINGSIt is with great sadness that the family of Gertie announces her passing on Thursday January 10th at the age of 89. She passed away peacefully at home after a long illness so bravely borne. She will be greatly missed by her daughter Christine and her partner Reg, son Jeffrey and daughter in law Wendy, her grandchildren Adam and Emily, Aleysha, Kyle and Jacob and her great grandchildren Isabella, Lily, Milo, Keaton, Cameron, Perrie and Ira. She leaves a brother Terry and sister in Law Joan. Gertie is resting at James Summers Funeral Home, Roath Court, Newport Road, Cardiff, where flowers may be sent. Gertie's life will be celebrated at Cardiff and Glamorgan Crematorium, Port Road East on Thursday 1st February at 11am. All are welcome to attend.
