Although we didn't know each other for very long, Janet made a lasting impression on me. We shared a love of gardening, wildlife, a similar sense of humour, and some enjoyable conversations whenever our paths crossed.
She was always kind, thoughtful and willing to help, and I knew that if I ever needed her support, she would have been there. I hope she knew the same was true in return.
I am grateful to have known her, and I will miss seeing her around and putting the world to rights. My thoughts are with you, Doug, and your family.
