MaureenHEYSof Peel Street, Cloughfold, Rawtenstall passed away at Blackburn Hospital, aged 63 years.

Maureen formerly worked as a bank clerk at Barclays Bank PLC. She was also the secretary at St Mary's Church PCC. She was also a joint leader of St Mary's Mothers Union and was an active member, she was a member "Team St Mary's" as an active member of St Mary's "Soup and Sandwich" Group.

Maureen was active in the congregation of St Vincent's Anglican Church, frequent blood donor, supporter of many local and national charities. She also enjoyed travelling to the Algarve, Portugal. She was also a member of the Institute of Advance Motorists.

Maureen leaves behind her partner Derek Boden, step children Suzanne Hartley, Richard Boden, step-grandson Charlie Hartley, step son-in-law Daniel Hartley.

A service will be held on Tuesday, March 31 at St Mary's Church, Rawtenstall, at 12.15pm, conducted by Rev Samuel Hameem.

Family flowers only, donations to St Mary's Church or Rawtenstall and Rossendale Hospice. Mourners are asked not to wear black, bright colours only if possible. Donations can be made online www.fredhamer.co.uk (tributes and donations).
