Alexander StrachanHILLPeacefully on Sunday 9th April 2017 after a short illness in the comfort of his own home surrounded by his family at Waterside, The Stell, Kirkcudbright, Strachan (aged 91 years) loving husband of Moira for 60 years, much loved papa of Strachan and Peter and grandpapa to Jennifer, Stuart, Emily and Peter and great grandpapa to Katie. Funeral service will take place at Roucan Loch Crematorium, Dumfries on Friday 21st April at 11.00am and afterwards at the Selkirk Arms Hotel, Kirkcudbright where all friends and family are welcome. Family flowers only please but, if desired, donations for Marie Curie will be accepted at service or by Osborne, 41 Castle Street, Kirkcudbright, DG6 4JD.
