The obituary notice of Pamela HILL

I awake each morning to start a new day,
But the pain of losing you never goes away.
I go about the things I have to do,
And as the hours pass, I think of you.
I want to call you and just hear your voice.
Then I remember that I have no choice,
For you are not there and now my heart cries
Just to see you again, to tell you goodbye.
To say, "Mum I love you and I always will,"
And hope that much of you in me you've instilled.
The day that you left I just didn't know
That you were going where I couldn't go.
And now all my memories of you are so dear,
But gosh, how I miss you and wish you were here.
Who now can hear me when I need to cry?
Someday I know all will be well
And I'll see you again with stories to tell
Of how you were missed and how we have grown
And how good it is to finally be home.
Until then my memories of you I'll keep near,
And I'll pass them on to those who are dear.
I miss you, Mum!

My heart has been left broken
Since the day you had to go
And the memories i treasure dearly
Are in the tears that still flow

You’re in my thoughts everyday
And that’s how it will always be
For you may be up in heaven now
But you’ll always be with me

If only I could have the chance
To see your face once more
It to hear your voice one final time
Just like it was before

The day the heaven call for me
Will be a relief from all the pain
I’ll run to you with open arms
And we will meet again

I know you’ll forever look over me and my girls
Until the day we meet again nan
I love you

This is the legacy we have from you nan.
You taught us love and how to fight
You gave us strength, you gave us might.
A stronger person would be hard to find,
And in your heart you were always kind.
You fought for us all in one way or another
For all of us you gave your best
Your love in our hearts we’ll eternally keep.
Your memory will forever live on in your grandkids and great grandchildren we all love and miss you so much.

Your birthday in heaven may be different, but our love for you remains unchanged and as strong as ever. Happy heavenly birthday Nan! Love your grandkids and great grandchildren!

The years will always roll on by
and time will always pass,
but every memory I have of you
will definitely always last.
I like to smile when I think of you.
I try not to be sad.
It’s pretty easy to do
with all the good times that we’ve had.
But sometimes I can’t help it,
and memories leak out of my eyes,
and I quickly try to brush them away.
I know you wouldn’t want me to cry.
I don’t know how it’s possible,
but I love you more now than I did then,
and I really cannot wait until
the day that I see you again.
Because, Nan, I know I would take hold of you
and never ever let you go.
Every day that passes by
I miss you more and more.

Gone but never forgotten

Mum I miss you everyday,
But today I miss you more.
You know I'll be thinking of you,
Of that you can be sure.

I wish I could wrap my arms
around you once again,
you could do what you always do
and take away the pain.

I know you are still with me,
I feel it in my heart.
We may be in separate worlds,
but we're never too far apart.

The wiping away of tears today,
I know there will be some.
But I am eternally grateful,
to say that your my mum.
