I would to take this opportunity to express my sincere condolences to you both. Peter was a good friend to my parents, Michael & Sally, and although I didn't know Peter as well as many others I will always remember him as a real gentleman, with a great sense of humour and legendary story telling. Once met never forgotten. Rest in Peace

It was always lovely listening to Peter about his life and his amusing stories. We sat together at the Scunthorpe museum art group and I also learnt a lot from his art skills and his methods. He was a prolific painter and I loved seeing his work. My last visit to Peter was when Pam and I went to his new flat on Cleethorpes sea front. It was beautiful and then Peter said he was taking us for lunch at the fish and chip restaurant which he said was just a few minutes walk away. FEW MINUTES!!!! for someone who was limited in his walking he put Pam and I to shame. I never thought we’d get there and I kept saying to him ‘how much further Peter? He just smiled and kept going. Miss your humour Peter and your stories. Sleep well my friend.
