We're desperately sorry to hear of Melv's passing. Please know our thoughts and love are with all family and friends of Melv both now and in the future.

Melv went to great lengths to make myself and Lyns feel incredibly welcome since I've reconnected with family in recent years. I know that like many people that will have met him over the years, Lyns in particular was quite enchanted with the very charismatic man and his storytelling. For this alone we will be forever grateful and have the warmest of memories.

I'm proud he was my Godfather and without hesitation can speak on behalf of Joan, Ivor, Terry and Jane to say the man who lit up a room when he walked in will be sorely missed.

All our love. Joe & Lyns Miles. xxx
