JoanHILLAMNEE HEATH Let me apologise to any friend I have missed saying thank you to as the day was very sad and I did not see everyone as you can guess. Let me thank the paramedics, the staff in casualty and Ward six who did their best to save Joan over the eleven days she was in Leighton Hospital, but she was just too poorly to get better. Also for the sincere kindness freely given by friends, neighbours and even complete strangers to me on hearing about Joan, the vicar Geoff Breffit who conducted a simple dignified service for Joan in our little and proud old tin church St Marks in Shavington, the flowers that were provided by Alison of Alison's flowers who knew Joan as a neighbour and made a sad day just a little brighter, the Vine Inn, Shavington also did us proud after the service, the Co-op Funeralcare who looked after everything and more to see Joan was looked after with dignity, care and love. £400 was also given by good people for the Stroke Association, money they deserve
