I wish I may
I wish I might
Be the one
On whom you shine your light
So I can keep you in my sight

Just  to see your ora glow
Then I will surely be glad to know
That you are happy

Its been a while since you said goodbye
But you are still loved and on our minds 
Through our love the tie that binds
Remembering you Joyce

We had good times 
We had some sad
But the good times 
Outweighed the bad

I want to leave you something

My sick wife Joyce said to me 'hun 
I will leave you when the roses disappear
They're fading one by one
Then I got down to pray
And my prayer started in this way
"Please paint a rose o'er the garden wall
So Joyce will think summer's still here
The doctor said she would be taken from me
When the roses disappeared"
She'll think the painted flower is real
It will give her new courage somehow
So please, paint a rose by the garden wall
so Joyce won't leave me now.
is it asking too much, dear God
To spare me these heartaches, these tears?
