Cynthia MavisHODSONIt is with heartfelt sadness we announce Cynthia Mavis Hodson passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Friday 13th March.
A devoted Wife to Gordon, a loving Mother to Tina, Gail and Russell. A cherished Nannie to Sean, Jennifer, Mike, Sarah, Georgina and Eleanor. An inspirational Great Nannie to 7 great grandchildren and a beautiful friend to all who knew her.
Her strength and love shaped us, and she will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered.

Cynthia's funeral service will be held at Markeaton Crematorium, Main Chapel on Thursday 23rd April 2026 at 12:30pm.

By families request, attendees to wear formal attire with a hint of lilac.

Following the service you are warmly invited to raise a glass and share more memories of Cynthia at The Great Northern, Station Road, Mickleover, Derby, Derbyshire, DE3 9FB

Donations made in lieu will be sent to Derbyshire Leicestershire & Rutland Air Ambulance.
