MarieHOLDENMarie Holden (nee Robinson), recently of Love Clough, died peacefully on Sunday, August 10, in Oak Hill Mansion, Accrington, aged 99 years and 11 months.

Loving wife of the late Fred Holden, much-loved mum of Susan, Philip and Sheila, gran to Rachel, Steven and Richard and Supergran to Skye and Emily. Always cheerful and positive, she will be much missed by her family and all her friends in Rossendale and further afield.

Marie’s funeral will take place at Burnley Crematorium at 10.45am on Friday, August 22, followed by a service of Thanksgiving at St Mary’s and All Saints, Goodshaw at 12.30pm.

Thank you to the carers at Hazelwood who helped to keep Marie living independently for so long and to all at Oak Hill Mansion who cared for her in her final weeks.
