DavidHOLDERIt is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of David George Holder, a devoted husband, father and grandfather, who died on January 17th, 2026, at the age of 65. He will be deeply missed by his wife Lynne, children Katie and Tom, son-in-law Dan, daughter-in-law Mia, and grandchildren Archie, Bella, Jacob, Eleanor, Gracie and Finley. A funeral service will be held at Cheltenham Crematorium, Oak Chapel, on Wednesday, February 25th, at 1pm. The family kindly requests only family flowers and donations in David's memory for The British Heart Foundation

Grandad we miss you everyday
We all love you.I really miss going swimming and miss getting the random message sound from you sharing jokes with me I will miss sleeping in the awning on hoildays when I was just getting to sleep then all of sudden and then I would hear a random laugh because you just remembered a joke then you shared it with me then all of sudden you were asleep I miss when me u and nana used to hang out in awning after the girls went to sleep then we be really silly I miss seeing you I miss you're cup of tea and chess tootsies I will miss seeing you're happy face on Christmas morning I love you so much hopefully you can go to swimming and be able to make cheese toasties in heaven otherwise I don't know how you would cope grandad when u see that we are upset come visit us a robin keep flying to nana at work we love you so much don't worry grandad I will look after nana for you love you so much grandad
