Treasured memories of a fantastic Spanish tutor, who persuaded some of us to take GCSE with great success and then persuaded 7 of us to holiday in Barcelona. 7 of us became the famous 5, travelling to Spain, Strasbourg and Reims. Wonderful memories of fun times, laughter, learning and searching for McDonalds in Baden Baden. Only Harry! Sadly missed, Normita and Jaime.

How saddened I am to learn of Harold’s passing. Harry was my French teacher at Bertram Ramsey School, he was a well respected teacher. I met Harry many years later where I live now. Harry was a good a good bridge player we often spoke when he was out walking. Deepest sympathies to his family. RIP Sir.
