Jean MaryHOLLISPassed away peacefully at Royal Derby Hospital, surrounded by her children, at 2:00pm on Thursday 9th May 2024 aged 90. Beloved wife of the late David Walter Hollis. Devoted and loving mother to Steven, David, Julie, and Linda. Adored and loving grandmother to Clare, Alison, Kevin, David, Kelly, Sam, Christina, Matthew and Ellie. A proud great grandmother and loving sister to Cynthia and Kevin. Jean will be dearly missed by all who knew her. A service for Jean will be held at Markeaton Crematorium (Main Chapel) on Wednesday 5th June at 11:00am. Flowers may be sent c/o Central Co-op Funeral, 4 Park Farm, Birchover Way, Allestree DE22 2QN If preferred, donations may be given at the service for Ward 410 at Royal Derby Hospital. Oh mum ,how we miss you so much,you did so much for your family which you loved so much.we had our little chats every morning with a cuppa,I now drive past 307 wanting to see you it hurts, not being able to see you probably asleep on settee

Dearest Jean, from the day we met we hit it off straight away, laughing and moaning about our ailments. We laughed and became really good friends. I’ll miss doing your hair at your house which we called the salon. You will be dearly missed all my love Bev xx
