Sidney GeorgeHOLLOWAYIt is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Sidney George Holloway,
on the 24th June 2025, aged 98 years.

Beloved husband to Betty for 72 years,
much-loved father to the late Philip,
a devoted and lifelong father-in-law to Kathleen,
proud grandfather to Gemma, Laura and Andrew,
and cherished great-grandfather to Sebastian, Arabella, Violet and Oscar.

After serving in WWII, Sidney proudly built his career as an accountant for International Combustion
— a role he loved and excelled in right up until his retirement.
Sidney touched the hearts of many with his positive, kind and gentle nature.
He will be fondly remembered by all who knew him.

A Funeral service for Sid will be held at 11:00am on Tuesday 8th July
at St Peter's Church, High Street, Chellaston, Derby, DE73 6TD

Followed by a burial at Chellaston Cemetery, St Peter's Road,
Chellaston, Derby, DE73 6UU
