William Louis HowardHOOPERIn loving memory of William Louis Howard 'Toddy' Hooper who passed away at his home, in St Erth Praze on 30th December 2023 aged a wonderful 100 years.

A very much loved Dad to Jane & Sarah; father-in-law to Kenny; Grandad to Hayley, Laura & Rachael; a six times great-grandfather, and a great-great-grandfather to Daisy; a cousin, a colleague; and a friend to many.

A Celebration of His Life will be held at St Erth Methodist Chapel on Wednesday 17th January at 11:00 am, followed by interment at St Erth Cemetery. You are invited to join the family afterwards at the Star Inn, St Erth for refreshments.

Family flowers only, but donations, if desired, are for The Flicka Foundation Donkey Sanctuary which can be made at the funeral or via the link shown on this page.

I knew Toddy when I worked at Longrock BR engineshed as an apprentice fitter/Turner. He was a fine driver and a gentleman, well to me as an apprentice anyway. Always good for a laugh and a joke but certainly knew what he was talking about. He will be sadly missed. John Martin. BR Longrock, 1958/62.

Remembering my good neighbour 'Toddy' - St Erth Praze will not be the same now that this great character has gone.
My thoughts are with his close family who have tirelessly cared for him for all these years enabling him to stay in his own home. Sincere condolences to you all, Pennie
