We first met Steve when he set up a football club for our little ones. It turned into a great team of players. Each week us parents met on the touch line cheering our lads on. This lead to great friendships and holidays together over the years. Centre Parcs, Brecon and Wales as well as skiing holidays. ‘Ski school Steve’ led the kids in a snake like fashion safely down the mountain. They would follow him anywhere. Great laughs, games, parties and fun. Heartache 10 years ago when we lost Andy and now Steve. May you two meet up again. Treasured memories of wonderful times. RIP Steve.

I Thought I would never have to write this after hearing about the loss of my son. Stephen, affectionately known as Budgie due to his blonde hair.

Stephen, you will always be my pride and joy along with your sister Sharron and I wish I could have taken all the pain away.

You will always be loved and deeply missed forever.

Good night and God bless son.

Dad x

Sending Best Wishes to his family.. 🙏 We knew Steve through football, he was a regular on the sunday sidelines, our son played for one of his academies for a few years, he was kind enough to call him with advise when he had moved on…
RIP Hopcroft
