I've struggled for days to find the words to leave a tribute to John & still now i struggling.
So all i will say is thank you John for treating my mother & myself & family with the kindness that always shone through everytime I was in your company. We were never close but you always treated me & my family like an old friend's.
I never saw you without a smile on your face & you always had a quick wit that made everyone feel welcome.
We were definitely from different backgrounds had absolutely opposite lifestyles but you still treat me as one of your own for which i can only thank you for.
Rest now my friend, rest easy.

I always looked forward to seeing you Uncle John, we could sit and talk for hours about anything. I will miss your amazing humour and fun nature. You have been an amazing friend to me and I'm glad we got to spend the time together when we could. I will miss you dearly.
