DorothyHOUGHTON WHITEHEADSadly passed away on Monday 16th October 2017 aged 83 years, after a long battle suffering from Heart failure. Late wife of Alan Whitehead. Dorothy worked within the Spring Industry practically all her working life. Was once the previous MD of Lawson Springs Ltd in the 1980's. Dorothy worked till she was 82 years of age, for the past 20 years working at her own spring making company - Ashworth Springs Ltd, which she co-owned with her nephew Matthew. Dorothy leaves behind, Nephews Christopher and Matthew. Great Aunty to Simon, Kirsty, Chloe, Alex, Amber and Megan and Great Great Aunty to others. Dorothy will be sadly missed by all who knew her. Funeral Service to take place at St Bartholomew's Church, Whitworth on Wednesday 1st November 2017 at 9.45am, followed by interment at Rochdale Cemetery at 11.00am. Family flowers please by request.
