The obituary notice of Maureen HOUGHTON

Dearest John and Maureen, how I thank God for you both. You shone like lights in the darkness and your guidance was so valuable. I remember telling you how I visualized you like beacons in the darkness guiding me and many others to the Lord and to the safety of his will and his ways. I have only just discovered that you have both gone to be with the Lord and whilst I feel deepest sadness at my loss and your family's loss, I am so aware of the joy that you will both be experiencing now you are in His eternal presence and safe, at last in the loving arms of Jesus. I have missed you so much and especially now I miss you and your wise counsel. You will always remain in my heart and I thank God for you and I always will. With much love and grateful thanks to you and to your beloved family whom I have heard you both speak of affectionately so many, many times. Thank you so much for everything. from Grace p.s.
