Brian DorisHOWARTHBRIAN & DORIS HOWARTH The family of the late Brian & Doris Howarth would like to thank everyone for their kind messages of sympathy and cards of condolence. A big thank you to the friends and neighbours who braved the weather to line the roadside along the funeral route to say their last farewell and to those, who due to the current pandemic, were unable to join the family in church and at the crematorium to say their final goodbyes and also those who chose to brave the weather and pay their respects by standing outside. It was very much appreciated. A Special thanks to the Royal British Legion for their magnificent turnout to present a Guard Of Honour and also to the Accrington Branch of the Girl Guides and the Trefoil Guild for their attendance. And finally heartfelt thanks to Paul and Sarah Barton and Staff of Barton & Hallworth Funeral Directors for giving Brian and Doris such a personal and dignified send off, as I'm sure Brian and Doris would have been up there, looking down at you all with beaming grins and a proud thumbs up.
