To my lovely godmother. On the eve of your passing, I sit and think about you as I often do. Lucky black cats, birthday presents at milestones of useful things!, your sense of humour and most of all the amazing godmother you were who never ever let me down. By goodness u were a fighter and I hope you are at peace with your parents, Winnie and Billy and enjoying my dad's sense of humour and love of ships too! You'll be glad to hear that you both passed that on to me. Will miss you always, but forever rest in peace, till my time comes to see you again. Lots of love, a Guinness and a whisky toast to u too although I can hear you saying you don't drink. Well stop your kitchen clock if you know what I have written!! Another year sadly gone without you by my side, a wonderful godmother. Never ever forgotten. The years may have flown but your memory lives on.... Thinking of you today and every day, and yes I'm a day early but you popped in my head and I raise a glass of Guinness to you up there. You may have been gone 5 years now but I think of you every single day and I smile at the clock that hangs in my kitchen you bought me, I joke with it when it goes slow you've been on the Guinness or whisky again.
