John AnthonyHUBBARD8th February 2023 peacefully at Hull Royal Infirmary, aged 89 years. Beloved husband of the late Pat, much loved partner of Val, dearly loved dad of Steve, Therese, Tim, Sarah and Ben, in laws Lyn, Chris, Abby and Leanne. Loving grandad of Alison, Josh, Joe, Emma, Eden, Holly and Archie, also much loved great grandad of Sigge, Otis, Rudie and Stellan. Service at Our Lady of Lourdes and St Peter Chanel (Marist Church), Cottingham Road on Friday 10th March at 12 noon, prior to interment at Northern Cemetery. No flowers please but donations for Yorkshire Air Ambulance and RNLI may be left at the service.

Grandad John, most of my memories of him were when I was very young,
I do remember a warm hearted man who cared a lot for others,
I remember he was as wise as he was kind,
and I remember his presence always making me feel at ease, safe and peaceful.


His beautiful family are all a reflection of him and all his lovely, warm attributes and the love that is shared is undeniable.
Although he has left his physical body, he is kept alive through the loving nature of the Hubbards and those that were close to him as I’m sure he touched a lot of us.
Rest In Peace grandad John.
