You are forever in my thoughts and heart; I'd wanted to light a candle in church yesterday, but ironically there were no matches. Next week, I will be going to try the organ at St. Peter's Bexhill for a service I'm playing there on 26th July. The last time I was in that church, was 17th July 2014, the saddest day of my life. But I now realise that it wasn't Farewell, but Hasta la vista. Please come to the service and let me know you're there, if you can.

Another year has passed without you; ironically it actually brings us closer to seeing each other again.
The only way I cope with your absence, is the knowledge that "you're just in the other room," like in the poem, "Death is nothing at all," often recited at funerals I play at. Hasta la vista, cherie. Xxxxxx

A personal tribute to Helen Fleur Hughes

We first met at the wonderful Royal Holloway College, University of London.
Our time together was extraordinary, but very sadly it turned out to be all too brief.
In 2014, a cruel twist of fate took you from this world.
Ten years later, all my memories of you remain joyful and remarkably vivid.
Long may they last.
Rest in peace.
