GeorgeHUMELYNEMOUTH Died after a long illness on 7th March 2021 at Chasedale Care Home. Beloved Husband of Amelia, much loved dad of Reuben & Valerie, loved father in law of Glyn & Lyn and proud Grandfather & Great Grandfather. Funeral Service at Blyth Crematorium at 4pm on Tuesday 23rd March for 30 mourners inside. Webcam link will be available. No flowers but donations welcome to Alzheimer's charity. Please address all enquiries to Co-op Funeral Care, Ashington.

Just learned of George's passing and send all my love and sympathy to Amelia and family. George and I shared a close friendship through school and into our early working lives.
I treasure a host of very fond memories of those times,
He was a true 'gentle'man in every sense of the word.
I'm so proud to have had him as a friend and am so deeply saddened at his passing. God Bless Ray Shields
