BrendaHUMES(Ouston) Brenda passed away peacefully at home on the 24th June 2026 aged 77 years old.

Adored wife to Allen. Much loved mam to Chris and Antony and a friend of many. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her.

A funeral service will take place on Tuesday 14th July 11:15am at Saltwell Crematorium.

Family flowers only. Donations in lieu of flowers if desired will be forwarded to Cancer Research UK. A donations box will be provided at the exit of the chapel following the service.

Sending deepest sympathies to you all. I first got to know Brenda when Antony and then Chris came to the nursery at St Benets. Over the years I sometimes saw Brenda out and about and usually on the Team Valley. What a vivacious and bubbly person she was, always friendly and chatty and keen to keep me updated as to how the boys were getting on. So very sad to hear of her passing. May she rest in peace x
