The obituary notice of Mary Rachel Louise HUMPHREYS

Always remember Mary on a concert day. We must have saved seats for each other dozens of times and tried so hard not to make the same mistakes we’d made every week in rehearsals. Normally we succeeded in covering them up but would have a secret giggle when we didn’t. She was such fun and much loved by all who knew her. Will be thinking of you today, my friend.

I have only just seen that Mary has passed! I had the great pleasure of working with both Mary and Chris on Faust with Miracle theatre both as actors and collaborators on Maria's Song, as well as forays with Porthowan Players. Both I and my partner Bren will dearly miss her xx

So very sorry to hear that Mary has passed away. Have many happy memories of cups of tea together after collecting the children from school. I was in France when I heard and unable to attend the memorial service. Sending love to Lucy and Tessa xxx
