Grandad, it still doesn’t feel real that I can’t just call into 98 and shout it’s only me! I’ve never known life without you and I’m so grateful that the world had 90 wonderful years with you. I hope you heard us all tell you how much we loved you and reminisce about all our happy times in those last few days and that it gave you some comfort. Georgia and Aidan will miss playing with you in the garden and of course the toffee jar!
Thank you for just being there. Always. No matter what.
Give grandma a hug from me. I’m glad you are reunited. Love always, sarah xx

Grandad, you were the heart of so many of our best memories. Looking back, our childhood was amazing because of you and Grandma. You had a way of making everything feel safe, fun, and full of love. It was always an open door at number 98. I’m going to miss popping in, the advice you gave, the music we would listen to, the laughs and even the bickers but more than anything the way you were always so interested in everything we had been up to taking such a genuine interest .. and of course a crisp butty! Watching you with Rosie has been such a joy. I will make sure she remembers how wonderful you were. Give Grandma a cuddle for me. I miss you both so much but glad you are together again .. how it should be xxxx

Rest peacefully Grandad. Your life is part of my story, all of our stories. You started this crazy amazing family tree that I am so thankful for.
I was told by a trusted source, that in heaven you are surrounded by all of your favourite things. So I hope you and grandma are sat together having a cup of tea watching a football match and having a well deserved cuddle after this time apart.
You will continue to live on through all of us, through stories, songs that remind us of you and when we watch soccer.
I love you xx
