John RoyHUTCHINSONIt is with great sadness that on 29th September 2025 our lovely life loving husband, dad and grandad passed away at his home surrounded by his family and lots of love. John Roy Hutchinson aged 79 years of Skelmanthorpe, the dearly loved husband of Berneice and the much loved dad of Scott, Brett and Laura. He was a hardworking, funny, sociable chap, who had an ear for anyone. He made us feel safe and happy. As a family we are devastated and he has left a huge hole in our lives, but in his typical "Dad" approach we shouldn't worry, just carry on and celebrate his life. Will friends please meet for funeral service at Grenoside Crematorium North Chapel at 11am on Monday 20th October 2025, and please join us as a family afterwards at the Foresters Arms, Lower Cumberworth, to reminisce, tell your story and raise a glass to a truly beautiful man. No flowers by request donations in lieu of flowers if so desired would be appreciated and will be divided between Prostate Cancer UK & Kirkwood Hospice for which a donation plate will be provided at the service.
