AnneJACKSONOn 14th December 2022, Anne of Tunstead Milton, High Peak, passed away aged 78 after a short stay in Stepping Hill hospital. Beloved wife of John Jackson, loving Mother to Ruth and Jane, and Grandmother to Robbie, Elsie & Charlie and loving sister to Dr. Stephen Dukes. Growing up in May Bank, Anne was a familiar figure in her Mother's grocery shop until she went to work in local hospitals as a Medical Laboratory Technician in Newcastle under Lyme and Stoke on Trent, and later Leeds, Canterbury and Cheadle. She always loved animals especially dachshunds and cats, and in later life fostered cats, the majority of which never left. Her menagerie included cats, dogs, goats, ducks and hens. All throughout her life her priority was her family and her animals. She will be greatly missed by family and friends - and her animals. Funeral service to take place at Macclesfield Crematorium on 20 January at 10.45am. Family flowers only please, donations in memory of Anne to the 'Cats Protection' may be sent to R.W.
