ColinJAMESPassed away peacefully at Hillview Care Home on
Friday, March 6, surrounded by his loving family, aged 80 years.

Colin was born in Bacup where he lived, spending his working life in the building trade
and the local coal mines of Hilltop, Burnley and Billy Clayton's, Water.

Colin was a keen cyclist and loved walking the hills and quarries around Bacup and
taking day trips to Blackpool and Cleveleys with his late partner Christine.

He leaves behind brothers Austin and Arnold, ex-wife Elizabeth, children Colin, Lynton,
Andrew and Sharon and their respected partners, nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

A short service will be held at Anthony Johnsons (Bacup) on Friday, March 20, meeting at 11am, followed by cremation at Accrington Crematorium at 12.20pm with refreshments at Bacup Borough Football Club from 1.30pm.

Family flowers only please with donations to Hillview Care Home Residents Fund,
via Anthony Johnson Funeral Services, 41 Market Street, Bacup, Lancashire, OL13 0AJ.

Heartbroken to say goodbye to such a wonderful father-in-law. I feel so grateful to have had him in my life. It’s such a sad loss for our family and he will be deeply missed. ♥️
