The obituary notice of Hilary JARDINE

I met Hilary in 1970 and remained friends for 22 years. We were at Eaton Hall College together and became teachers in Doncaster. In fact, she was more than a friend, she was like a sister and very much part of the family too. She would travel up to Scotland and stay with us three times a year. Everyone knew her and loved her for her wit. She would go out on the balcony (her 'naughty step') to have a smoke and wave, and speak to my friends as they walked along the road. They all knew her and enjoyed her, and she always made them smile.

You were my loving Godmother. I have so many fond memories of you through the years, Dancing, singing and reminiscing. You were a friend to us all and one that will always be remembered. You will now be our forever angel
