JoanJEFFREYIt is with great sadness we announce the death of Joan Jeffrey, who passed away peacefully with her daughter by her side on July 31st at Highfield Hall Care Home.
Joan was a loving wife of the late Norman, mother-in-law to the late Evan, mother to Sandra, grandma to Carly and great grandma to Britt and Finn who live in Canada, therefore several happy trips to see them.
For many years Joan worked at Rossendale General Hospital as an auxiliary nurse in the Geriatric Ward and later a
ward clerk on the busy Day Surgery Ward.
Joan was certainly a ‘one of a kind’ a caring, helpful, uplifting person who will certainly be missed by those who knew her.
The funeral service will take place at Burnley Crematorium on Tuesday, August 19, at 11.30am.
