Born and raised in Trinant, moved to Newport Following her time in the army
Loving Partner of the late Robert Madden
Dearly Loved Mum of Rachael and Edward
Adored Nanny of Millie, Olly and Tayla
Wonderful Sister of David, Glenda, Kay, Glyn and the Late Dawn
Cherished member of the community and Beloved friend to all who knew her.

Resting in the private Chapel of
Michael G Ryan Son and Daughters Ltd,
106-108 Malpas Road, City of Newport
Until Funeral Thursday 31st July 2025
Service at Langstone Vale Crematorium Chapel 4pm
Prior to cremation
Immediate family flowers only please however
Donations would be appreciated for Diabetes UK
and can be made here by clicking the link on this page
or placed in the donations box at the Crematorium Chapel
Following the funeral, all are welcome to join the family for light refreshments at the Maesglas Sports and Social Club, to share memories, pay tribute and celebrate Irene’s life.

Had so many lovely memories in maesglas, when you lived next door to my mum, before you moved down the other end of the avenu. You was both great friends, I remember the days down the parks with picnics, music by the pool at tredegar house, down barry Was always with rach, your home was like a 2nd home to me. You will be missed by many. R.I.P xx
