CarlJOHANSONCarl died suddenly on 17th March, aged 63 years. A devoted dad of Lauren Jane and Hannah Catherine Elizabeth. A beloved son of Betty and Eric, a dearly loved brother of Jacqualine, Lesley, Peter, Teresa and the late Ericka. Also, a loving brother-in-law of Richy, Sandra and Rob. A wonderful uncle and great uncle. Carl will be forever loved and sadly missed by all his family and friends. Family and friends are invited to meet for a celebration of his life at Whitley Bay Crematorium on Friday 5th April at 10.30am. Family flowers only by request, donations in lieu if desired to Critical Care Unit (Ward 37) C/O Freeman Hospital. A collection plate will be available at the Crematorium.

Speaking on behalf of all your nieces and nephews I can truly say you were not just our uncle Carl but also a father like figure for us all.
You have always taken time to be involved in our busy lives to see how we are, having (very) long conversations and genuinely just caring. A true family man, friend and a magnet to everyone around you. In the words of my uncle Carl.. “Life goes on kid”.
But you will never be forgotten.
