John, aged 85 years, sadly passed away on 25th December 2025 at the Royal Victoria Infirmary, Newcastle. Beloved husband of Celia. Wonderful dad of Alison and the late Amanda and Jill. Well respected father-in-law of Mike. Very much loved grandad of Jordan John and Keisha Rose. Brother of the Late Joan and Billy. Brother-in-Law, Uncle and friend to many. A service to celebrate John's life will be held at Mary Magdalene Church, Prudhoe on Thursday 22nd January 2026 at 11.30am followed by interment at Prudhoe Cemetery. Family flowers only please, but if desired, donations in John's memory can be gratefully made to Parkinsons UK.

Still can’t quite believe that I’ll never be able to joke on with you about being your favourite again. Will forever cherish all of the memories we’ve made, doing let’s twist again on holiday and singing in the navy on karaoke. Thanks for all the love and laughter you’ve provided me with during the last 38 years and thanks to all the special love that you’ve shown our three little people. We will all miss you beyond words and we love you beyond measure. Rest in perfect paradise uncle John 💔💔 xx
