MeganJONES-GRIFFITHIt's with extremely heavy hearts we announce the passing of our beloved Mother, Sister, Grandmother, Great Grandmother and Aunty - Megan Jones-Griffith, who made her transition July 25th 2020. Fiercely strong, Megan successfully beat cancer several times alas the fight became too much this final time and has left a huge hole in all our lives. A lifelong educator Megan touched the lives of countless pupils and parents, helping them on their journeys to great futures and achievements. Many ex-pupils and children she tutored after school will be heartbroken by this news. A kind, generous and loving woman, Megan's presence and intelligence were a shining light to family, friends and anyone who met her. A passionately patriotic Welsh woman, Megan was an active member of the Gloucester Welsh Society for many years and always put her culture front and centre and ensured we did too. Survived by Sons Julian and Richard, Daughter Natalie, Sister Morwen, Grandchildren Jagan, Paul, little Julian, Jayla, Jaya, Great Grandchildren Ellis, Freya and Lola and Nephew John. A devoted Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother we will all especially miss her love and input in our lives. Funeral Service at Gloucester Crematorium, Coney Hill, on Wednesday 5th August at 1 pm.
