TinaJONESMrs Tina (Mary Christine) Jones nee O’Hara, died peacefully at Royal Blackburn Hospital on Wednesday, February 17, aged 91. Tina was born in County Roscommon, Southern Ireland and came to England with her parents, sister Gertrude and brothers Jimmy and Michael when she was aged seven. She worked in several textile mills, but her favourite job was as a winder at Park Mill in Helmshore. Tina leaves her son Michael, and daughters Christine and Yvonne, having lost her son Terry in 2000. She also leaves seven grandchildren - Sharon, Anthony, Allan, Carley, Aaron, Katrina and Stuart. Also 10 great-grandchildren. Tina loved going out into the countryside and to car boot sales, always accompanied by her beloved poodles. Tina’s funeral will take place at St Mary’s RC Church, Haslingden on Friday, March 5 followed by a burial at Haslingden cemetery; due to current restrictions numbers are limited. Officiated by Fr.
