David LeslieJONESPassed away peacefully at home on Tuesday 24th June 2025, having recently celebrated his 80th birthday. Loving dad to Paul, devoted partner of Janet, proud grandad to Hector and Teddy and a friend to so many. Cherished for his warmth and kindness, his love of Derby County and sport and his immaculate garden. Funeral service to be held at Trent Valley Crematorium, Aston on Trent on Friday 1st August 2025 at 1.30pm. Please wear what you feel comfortable in, traditional attire is not necessary. Family flowers only please. Donations if desired are invited for Cancer Research UK. These can be made online at www.georgesimnett.co.uk or may be given at the service. Dave you were the best mate anybody could have. You were always the first person I would call to talk about anything and everything, usually at great length, and always with a sense of humour.
