Iorwerth ElwynJONESIt is with a heavy sorrow that we announce the passing of our Grandad,
Iorwerth (Eddie) Jones, on 14th August 2025, aged 96.
We take solace in knowing he has been reunited with his beloved wife and children,
his cleaved heart is whole again.
He leaves behind a legacy of strength, kindness and stubbornness that is most definitely carried on by all 8 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
He also leaves behind a chasm filled with sadness that can never be bridged.
Grief is the price we pay for loving and being loved by such a wonderful man.
Sweet dreams Dada. We love you a million bucks per eyelash.
The funeral will be held Monday 29th September 2025
St Patrick's Church, Cromwell Rd, Newport 11am
Prior to Interment at Christchurch Cemetery 12pm.
A Wake will be held afterwards, time and location to be confirmed but we would welcome family and friends to join us in a 'little tot' and to share the love and memories we have of Dada.
