AnnJONESAnn passed away peacefully on the 18th of December 2025 at Plas Garnedd Residential Home, Pentraeth after a battle with Alzheimer's aged 88 years of Bodafon, Talwrn.

Loving mother of Robert and Anwen.

Ann was a proud member of the congregation at St. Cyngar's in Llangefni, a member and honorary vice president of the Mother's Union, twice president of the Anglesey Soroptimists. She helped set up the WI Market in Llangefni and was known to many as a tireless volunteer and the Volunteer Organiser for Anglesey Social Services before she retired. She enjoyed village life in Talwrn as a member of the playing fields committee and a volunteer in the community shop amongst many other village activities she was involved in. She was often to be seen walking around the village with her walking poles! She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

A service to celebrate her life will be held at St. Cyngar's Church, Llangefni on Monday 12th of January 2026 at 11.00am. The service can be viewed online by following the link www.funeralstreaming.co.uk/watch/58131/ for anyone unable to attend.

Ann was a very good friend to our mum, Barbara, especially from 1990 when our dad died until 2001 when she left Llangefni to live near us in Norwich. She always spoke of 'Ann Bodafon' as one of the kindest and loveliest people she had the pleasure of calling a friend.
