ShirleyJONESPeacefully at rest on Sunday 8th February at the Royal Stoke University Hospital, Shirley aged 88 years. A resident of Belong Nursing Home, Newcastle, and formerly of Wolstanton.

The devoted wife of the late Bob Jones, treasured Mum of Anthony and the late Andrew, Mother in Law of June, loving Nan of Rebecca and Hannah and a dear Great Nan of Millie.

Shirley will be sadly missed but remains fondly in the hearts of her loving family, friends and all that knew her.

Funeral service to be held at Bradwell Crematorium on Friday 13th March at 10:40am.

I’m absolutely devastated to hear that Shirley has passed away. I had known her for many years and she was a remarkable, kind and compassionate lady. She dedicated so much of her time supporting autism and helping others in our community. Her kindness touched many lives and she will be greatly missed.

Shirley was such a positive, cheerful person, who was an asset to our team at Southlands Nursery. She will always be fondly remembered, by Greg and myself , all the staff, children, too, with cherished memories of her days as a cook with us❤️xx
