Big Sam,

How lucky I have been to have had you as my Grandad.

Thank you for always being there, from deicing my car to giving me a Big Sam cuddle when I needed it most.

I’ll miss your stories over a pint at CTK, you telling me all about the fine motors at the car shows and you sitting in your chair with a cheeky Big Mac and cheekier grin.

Mind how you go - Toni x

Grandad Sam,

Thank you for being such a strong father figure in my life. Some of my fondest memories from when I was young are the days spent with you in the garage, thinking I was your little helper as I revved engines and carefully reversed cars under your watchful eye. I felt so proud just being by your side.

I remember all the lifts you gave me to my activities, the car journeys filled with laughter and singalongs that made even the shortest trips special. You never made it feel like a chore -just time we got to spend together.

And I’ll never forget your cooking - the best mashed potatoes and those unbeatable breakfast fry-ups that always brought everyone together.

From holidays in Zante to the peaceful moments in Loch Lomond, those times with you are memories I’ll always hold close.

I truly believe I got the very best years of your life, and I’m so grateful for every single one of them. I hope you’re up there now, enjoying a pint or two with Gary, smiling the same way you always did.

Miss you always.
