You were the most amazing man i knew,
I was lucky to call you my dad,
You were always there for me,
Through all the good time and the bad,
Although you are no longer here,
I'll always be your little girl,
You were my first love, my hero,
The most selfless man in the world,
There are so many things i loved about you,
You always believed in me,
You were my bestfriend from day one,
We loved each other unconditionally,
If i ever needed someone,
I knew it was Dad i could call,
You've done everything for me Dad,
You loved me with your all,
I'd give anything to hear your voice again,
To have just one more day with you,
I think about you all the time,
You're part of everything i do.
You were so generous and kind,
A man as incredible as you were, Dad,
Is so rare and hard to find,
So i hope you know how grateful i am,
To have had a dad as amazing as you,
I am who i am because of you Dad,
I've always had you to look upto,
You left a huge hole in my life,
On the day we said goodbye,
My life will never be the same,
I will always question why,
But thankyou Dad for everything,
I love you forever with all my heart,
My rock, my best friend and my hero,
Right from the very start.

to listen and to guide me and to show how much you cared
On Father's Day, I feel your loss
even more so than other days,
and I wish I could just tell you,

And now that Father's Day is here
I'm feeling very sad
and know there'll never be a time

We do not need a special day to bring you to our minds.
The days we do not think of you are very hard to find.
Each morning when we awake we know that you are gone.
And no one knows the heartache as we try to carry on.
Our hearts still ache with sadness and secret tears still flow.
What it meant to lose you no one will ever know.
Our thoughts are always with you, your place no one can fill.
In life we loved you dearly; in death we love you still
There will always to be a heartache, and often a silent tear, But always a precious memory of the days when you were here.
If tears would make a staircase, and heartaches make a lane, We'd walk the path to heaven and bring you home again.
We hold you close within our hearts; and there you will remain, To walk with us throughout our lives until we meet again.
Our family chain is broken now, and nothing seems the same, But as God calls us one by one, the chain will link again.
