I met Paul one Sunday around 17 years ago on a muddy field in Staffordshire, we were both members of the North Staffs Metal Detecting Club.
After that brief meeting we spent every weekend for the next 16 years treading the mud all over England and there was rarely a day that wasn't full of banter and insane laughter.
Paul was one of the main go to club members to get an identification on finds or just a chat on a quiet filled and will be sadly missed.
God Bless mate...John & Ruth
