Peacefully aged 77 years, dearly beloved wife to Derrick, exceptional mum to Anthony, Caron, Richard and Michael and mother-in-law to Elaine, Sandro and Sue, amazing Granny to Kristen, Jessica, Deborah, Rose, Morgan, Rebecca, Chantelle, Valentino and Emily. Will be sadly missed and always remembered. Requiem Mass to be held at Our Lady Of Compassion Church, Formby on Friday January 5th at 12 noon, followed by burial at Liverpool Road Cemetery. Bernadette requests a touch of pink to be worn. Family flowers only please, but donations if desired to Liverpool Seafarers Centre c/o Coyne Bros, 3 Old Mill Lane, Formby, L37 3PE. Tel: 01704 873899

I met Bernadette on board the Discovery ship in September 2006, she was one amazing unforgettable lady. It was thanks to Bernadette and her husband Derrick, the wonderful captain of the ship, that made it possible for Father Fred Heptonstall, my mother and myself to visit Rome. I speak of her often with fondness
and as long as I live will never forget her. May her gentle soul rest in peace.
