EdwardKENTIt is with deep sadness we announce Edward Kent of Oakwood passed away peacefully at home, on Saturday 7th February 2026, aged 93 years.

Beloved husband of Doreen, loving father to Martin and Paul, father in law to Jeanette and Sarah, grandad to Emily, James and Nicola, grandfather in law to Sage, great grandad to Florence and a very special friend to many.

Funeral service to be held at Trent Valley Crematorium, Aston on Trent on Tuesday 3rd March 2026 at 10.30am. Casual attire welcome.

No flowers please.
Donations if desired are invited for Derbyshire, Leicestershire and Rutland Air Ambulance.
These can be made online at www.georgesimnett.co.uk or given at the service.
