SylviaKNAPPPeacefully on Saturday 6th June 2026, Sylvia of Tonypandy; beloved wife of the late Leonard,
loving mother of Damian, Rachel and Ingrid, dear mother-in-law of Becky and Dave and a much loved Grandma.
Sylvia will be sadly missed by her family and friends.

Funeral Wednesday 8th July, service at Llantrisant Parish Church at 12.00 noon.

Family flowers only. Donations, if so desired,
for British Heart Foundation and may be made online at
www.bhf.org.uk

Thank you so much for being the most caring, loving and funniest grandma I could have ever asked for. You’ve done the most amazing things for me and you have created some incredible memories for me , which I will cherish forever.

Thank you for always being there for me Mum.I miss you so much and absolutely heartbroken.My comfort is all the special memories ive got with you and knowing your back with Dad.Thank you also for being a wonderful Grandma to my 8 children.Also know that your 1st Great Grandchild due in September will know your looking down at him and he will know all about you.Love you and miss you Mum xxxx

To my wonderful grandmother.

Words can not describe how grateful I am for everything you did for me growing up. You showed me so much love and care it was hard to ever feel sad when you were with me. You were there to talk to me as both my grandmother and my best friend. You supported me in everything I do and always had so much faith in me that it made the tough times easier. I will continue to make you proud, carry your name with pride and be the best person I can be for you.

In Loving Memory of Mum

A much-loved wife of the late Leonard, devoted Mum, treasured Grandma to 14, and an excited Great-Grandma-to-be. Mum’s love, kindness and strength will never be forgotten. She will be deeply missed every day but will remain forever in our hearts. Now reunited with Dad after 37 years apart.
